If you previously paid for the app before it became a subscription service, you have unlimited permanent access to last year's 2012 edition of the guide. Please follow the instructions here if this is not automatically enabled.

Since October 2012, the app stores the latest pub & brewery information from GBG 2013 on the phone, so it will work without an internet connection.

The basic app is free in taster mode, with an optional subscription to unlock all features. This allows more flexibility on pricing than is possible with a fixed price on the App Store and enables us to offer free voucher codes to people who subscribe to the printed book, a free try before you buy “Taster Mode” and later on we may introduce discounted subscriptions for CAMRA members and renewals, which was not possible with a fixed price app.

If you paid for an earlier version of the app, you will receive full access to last year's 2012 edition, once you have created an account by registering your email address from within the app. If this does not happen, please email customer support at support@nearme.eu

Notice regarding Mobile Operator Content Blocking

Some UK mobile phone operators have placed our server on a mature content blocking filter due to its references to alcohol. This is enabled by default on Pay-As-You-Go accounts and some contracts and prevents the app from working. For more information and how to turn off the filter please read the FAQ I keep getting Server Connection Errors below.
